The college Women’s Development Cell was established in the year 2003, with a perspective that arises out of an understanding of gender equality in its entire ramification. All the activities are oriented towards gender sensitization and awareness.

Accordingly various literary and performing activities like essay writing, poster making, street play, skits, debate, impromptu speech, workshops and guest talk by eminent speakers is organized.

To curb sexual harassment and build a conducive environment for the youth in the campus a complaint’s committee has been constituted as per the directions of University of Mumbai.
