Rotaract Club of College organised Event Visit to ISKON on 22/9/2019. Members of Rotaract Club visited to SAMATVA event which was organised by Shilpi’s dance academi and activity centre at ISKCON TEMPLE. The event was well organised and managed properly. There were many performance related to cultural dance and skits. Our club members also performed a skit related to “Rights for kinner”.
Rotaract Club of college organised Blood Donation Drive on 28th July, 2019. The event took place at Dheeraj Ganga Apartment in association with Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast. The purpose of this event was to save and help lives of needy. Rotaractors went to multiple buildings and tried to convince people for donating their blood. A great enthusiasm and support was provided by nearby people and pedestrians.
Rotaract Club of Saraf College Successfully Completed Blood Donation Camp at Goregaon Railway Station on 15/03/2019 with the Help of Parent Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast & Collected 100 Bottles of Blood, that blood going to be use for Victims of CST Bridge accident with the Help of J J Hospital Blood Bank.
Rotaract Club Of Saraf College with Rotary Club Of Mumbai West Coast has successfully Organised Organ Donation Drive at Goregaon station on 20 August From 9 am to 1 pm. We got 76 pledge forms signed As an Organ Donor, Also more than 100 People had visited the booth of organ donation.
The main purpose of event “Green Ganesha” is to promote eco friendly ganesha statues. The statues were made of clay, which also contained food for marine animals. 34 participants took this participated and helped our club to take our society to fresh and harmless festival celebrations.
On 1st July, 2019 Members of Rotaract Club organised program Jeevandan. The main purpose of Jeevandan to raise awareness that individuals can save lives and improve the health of others by donating blood. The van was set up near Goregaon West Railway station with other club Rotaractors.
Beach ke Dikha Project objectives was to Promote Marketing Skills of Students & Cashless Transactions, There for there were two rounds in the Event 1st in which Participants need to Sell their marketing strategy of assigned Product to Students around for 1 Rs & need to get that money via any Online Payment App.
This Event was conducted on 15th August 2018. We collaborated with Prayas foundation for this initiative with the motto to serve the community on the Independence day. We successfully donated Books & Stationery Item to 200 Street Students & spent quality time with them by doing Fun & Masti.
A Rotract club was formed in the college jointly by Ghanshyamdas Saraf College with the Rotract club West Coast on 1st May 2016. The club conducts various activities for the development of the society, the first being working as volunteers for the Blind Association.
