Mumbai University 2025 held on 5th , 6th , 7th August 2025 an Inter Collegiate event at L.S. Raheja , KES. There were in total 33 participants. It showcased young talent through Performing Arts , Literary Arts and Fine Arts.
The Gift Hamper Making Competition saw enthusiastic participation, with students creating hampers that beautifully captured the essence of celebrations like birthdays and the festival of Rakshabandhan. The use of recycled materials, innovative designs, and thoughtful decoration highlighted the participants’ talent and eco-friendly approach.
Cultural committee has organized a small gift distribution ceremony to celebrate the auspicious day of Guru Poornima. A small token of appreciation was distributed among all the professors in terms of handwritten letters, chocolates, and pens.
The Thali Decoration Competition was organized to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in a festive and artistic manner. Students beautifully decorated their thalis using flowers, diyas, colours, and other decorative items.
Students from various department ranging from first year to final year undergraduates participated. The event successfully met its objectives by fostering cultural appreciation, encouraging artistic expression and building community spirit within the college.
The gift hamper making competition was a successful initiative, blending creativity with environmental consciousness. It provided a platform for showcasing waste management skills while celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
The event was focused to find new talents among the students in areas of singing and dancing. The event consisted of 4 areas Solo Singing, Duet Singing, Solo Dance and Group Dance. Students from various sections of BCOM and Self Finance participated in large numbers making the event successful.
Cultural Committee of college organizes various competitions/events to encourage extra-curricular talent among students. Though most of the activities are intra-college activities but college even every year organizes inter-college festival ‘Mauj’ where more than 1200 participants from different colleges across Mumbai take part and show their talent in respective event.
