The BSc.IT department of Ghanshyamdas Saraf College conducted departmental activity “TECHN-O-WIZZ 1.0” based on the theme “Artificial World” on 18th February, 2019 in Durgadevi Saraf Hall between 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Principal Dr. Jayant Apte and Mr. Ravi Philip (representative of University of Fraser Valley From Vancouver, Canada) inaugurated the event. Students of all divisions (BAF, BBI, B.Com, BMS, BCBI, and BFM) were welcome aboard.

The Students of First Year demonstrated their project based on “Artificial World” such VFX-ing technology. Where the group of second year students gave brief information on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and third year students demonstrated Magic Mirror and also showcased the latest technology like application on Internet of Things (IoT).

Debate competition on “Technology makes us Lazy”,”People under 13 age have cell phone” and “E-Learning versus Class Learning ” was also one of the activity involved on latest technology where participants presented their unique ideas. Three winners were declared.

Games like Crypto Currency, Logo Quiz, Decimal Fun and Memory game along with informative videos on BitCoins, ASCII, Memory storage etc. were presented for commerce students, who participated with full enthusiasm.

Activities such as Design Hunt, Website Designing were organized specifically for BSc.IT students in the Computer Lab (GSCC).

In Design Hunt there were three rounds, first was Quiz (MCQ’s), second was Relay-of-Language and the last round was Treasure Hunt. 23 groups participated from which two groups were selected as winners.

The treasure hunt was created using “Augmented Reality” concept. In Website Designing event, where students created an interactive website based on the theme “Online Shopping” and there were five groups from which two groups were declared as winners.

Administrator Prof. Bhavna Vaidya, teaching staff from (B.Com, Self-finance) and students across RSET institution graced the occasion. The event recorded 480 footfalls.

“TECHN-O-WIZZ 1.0” was executed very well by TYBSc.IT students with active support from FYBSc.IT and SYBSc.IT students.
