CURRENZO was organised by Department of B.Com [Banking and Insurance] on 12 February 2019 fom 8.30 am to 1.00 pm at Durgadevi Saraf Hall. This year the theme was ‘Global Monetary Museum’. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Jayant Apte [I/C Principal] accompanied by Dr. Lipi Mukherjee [Chief Coordinator-The event was judged by Prof Daksha Kapadia and Prof [CA] Gurunathan Pillai.The event was organised in order to highlight and enhance the global currency knowledge. This was done through showcasing various models with presentation created by the students of F.Y. B.Com [Banking and Insurance]. There were 11 different stalls displaying and explaining the monetary culture of Asian countries like:
- Singapore
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates
- Philippines
- Bhutan
- Sri Lanka
- Afghanistan
- Turkey
- Hong Kong
- Jordan
- Bahrain
Along with monetary knowledge students showcased various other information like Popular Monument, GDP, Exchange Rate and Games as well. The entire arrangement was put up by the students i.e. 24 core students from SYBCBI and TYBCBI with 97 participants from FYBCBI with great zeal and enthusiasm under the guidance of teachers. Students and Members from the various institutions under Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust visited this event. This year we had 1000+ footfall.

The event ‘CURRENZO’ was a huge success which gave a tough time to the judges in selecting the Best Group among all. It was an extravaganza experience with fun, joy and more learning for all the attendees. To give happy ending, Trophies, Medals and Certificates of Excellence and Participation were given by Dr. Jayant Apte and Dr. Lipi Mukherjee. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof Urvi Jain [BCBI Coordinator].
