Introduction

BMM is a three year specialized course aimed to provide trained students in the areas of mass communication, journalism, public relations etc. The course is directed towards providing a broad understanding of the role of communication and mass media in the society.

Program Outcomes

  • Provide adequate basic understanding related to Mass media and other related industry among students.
  • To develop and inculcate the traits of professionalism amongst the students. Professional attire, professional communication skills and professional discipline will be inculcated after the completion of the course.
  • The objective of the course is to familiarize the students with several media related fields like photography, film making, designing, animation, public relation etc, enabling them to avail multiple avenues in the job market.
  • The curriculum is taught in an interactive manner which develops critical thinking skills of the students and provides them insights about opportunities and challenges in the field of mass communication locally and globally.
