Swami Vivekananda has beautifully said, “Music is the highest art and to those who understand music is the highest worship”. The genuine place to achieve this highest art is our Nalini Shah Music Academy (NSMA). NSMA provides holistic learning of Music to educate our students and make them technically and professionally stronger and more proficient in the field of Music.
As the Head of Academy I am privileged and honored to be given the opportunity to express about our aim and future plans.
NSMA is a Hindusthani classical and semi classical vocal and Indian and western Instrumental Music training Institute. We seek to train the learners based in Mumbai basic and technical knowledge of Music which will help in creating brighter, cultural and art sensitive talents in society.
NSMA will offer varied music learning courses for Children, Youth and even Adults. Our education of Music will be mostly practical and it will have a scientific methodical basis. We will have well trained, committed and motivated faculties under the guidance of RSET’s NSMA with well structured, scientific and progressive curriculums. There will be Assessments through reports and we will have exams with felicitations and certifications at the end of the course. Certificate will be provided by NSMA. We are also affiliated to Pracheen Kala Kendra (PKK), Chandigarh and Bharatiya Sangeet Vidya Vihar (BSVV), Kolkata. Our students also get opportunity to appear in the examinations of BSVV and PKK.
Our successful students will be given opportunities to interact with many legendary professional artists and talented scholars of the nation. They will also be given training to get opportunity to participate in the events/activities/competitions/ Auditions/ empanelment in RADIO/ Film TV industries/different workshops etc. Regular Karaoke and Audio sessions are provided to our students at the NSMA’s audio recording studio to build up a society if successful Bollywood standard music professionals.
Nalini Shah Music Academy (NSMA) is a unique program for students interested in the music industry. NSMA combines the expertise of a network of industry leaders and professionals with a rich, relevant, and rewarding knowledge in order to prepare the next generation of musical talent for a dynamic future in the music industry.

The Music Academy track is comprised of a collection of elective periods that will include instruction in music performance, digital recording, and private instruction in the student’s area of focus (i.e. vocal, instrumental, and production).
We provide learning the various aspects of technical and scientific music production (forms of music, percussion, and music technology, norms of the industry, sound, and practical application)
We give our students practice on the latest and best musical instruments and working on latest technology being used in music. We are confident we will channelize your passion and talent professionally to give you a fulfilling and enriching experience.
