Report on Compering Competition
“An Anchor has many hats to don being in shoes of the host of the occasion.”
Durgadevi Saraf Junior College had organized a “Compering Competition” on 10th August 2021 for SYJC students of all the streams- Commerce (Morning & Evening), Science & Arts in all three languages English, Hindi & Marathi.Compering Competition was organised with the intention to provide online platform to our students to speak and perform by showcasing their talentwithout any inhibitions.
Compering is an Art. A good compere plays a vital role in the success of an event.The most challenging part of compering is having attendees involved in the proceedings of an event.
Total 26 participants exhibit their talent exceptionally well. The competition gave lot of confidence & courage to all the contestants by maintaining corelation with the upcoming Independence Day celebration.
The participants were judged on the basis of Content, Fluency, Performance & Professionalism.
All the judges appreciated the students for their enthralling performances and further guidance for improvement were given to the students.

- 3rd prize Bhooshita Gautam (XII M)
The Winners of Marathi Compering are:
- 1st prize Tejashree Chonkar (XII C)
- 2nd prize Bhakti Hule (XII C)
