On 23rd November, 2017 RMCC was invited by Maina Devi Bajaj International Play School to aid their school parents with the concern, which has become the need of an hour, that is the importance of their child%u2019s safety and how to safeguard them from any form of physical abuse. Since the children are too young to understand, it is the parent’s responsibility to train their children and also to equip themselves with various strategies and techniques to help their children lead a secure life.
RMCC counsellor facilitated the parents on the theme of significance Safe Touch and Unsafe Touch.
The objective of the workshop was to help parents explain to children where others should not try to touch them, how to react and where to seek help.
It was a very interactive workshop where a lot of case studies were discussed and many myths were broken. Multiple techniques and strategise were discussed on how to deal if faced with such a situation.
The workshop was concluded on a successful note.
