Secondary School

Students stepping into the secondary section learn to be more independent and hence are taught a wider range of subjects.

Learning is made student centre and the child is encouraged to learn by doing, by project work, by discussions, library references, Audio Visual aids, computers etc. Continuous and comprehensive Evaluation is followed for the students of Std V to VIII.

The academic session is divided into two terms and each term comprises of a Unit Test and a semester. The final result is based on the students performance throughout the year.

Students are encouraged to participate in the elementary and Intermediate Drawing exams, the High School Scholarship exam and other exams in Maths, Marathi and Science conducted by the Government.

The school had its first batch appearing for the SSC board exam in the year 1961-62 and has been successful in achieving a good pass percentage year after year.
