Mentorship

At MBIS we believe that our teachers are the in-house parents of our students, therefore it is their responsibility to ensure holistic development of all the students of MBIS while they are at school. The mentorship programme is a result of this belief.

Under this initiative each teacher who is referred to as a mentor has been assigned the responsibility to oversee the all-round development of up to 10 students. The mentor ensures that each student under their mentorship is able to cope up with the academics; they do this by observing their performance during various assessments, through their notebooks etc. and follow-up with their respective subject teachers to identify if there is a need for extra support. They also oversee their involvement in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to ensure no student is deprived of learning opportunities that are provided at MBIS.
