On 16thMarch 2018, students of TYBSc(IT) under the guidance of teachers, prepared and presented videos on “Future Technologies” in Computer Lab(6th floor). A “Quiz cum Treasure Hunt Competition” was held on the same day. Both events were attended by the staff of Ghanshyamdas Saraf College as well as the students of BSc.(IT). The discussion cum interaction session took place from10.30 pm to 12.00 pm. While the quiz took 3 hours. Both the events were conducted simultaneously at their respective places.Students participated with full enthusiasm for the session and also interacted with the volunteers at length sharing their point of views.The video session kick-started with TYBSc (IT) student, Nupur Mehta welcoming the staff and the students to the session. Mukul Bhatt (student) then took over the session and started with the presentation on “Microsoft HoloLens”. Further on, three videos were presented on various emerging technologies such as “Smart Remote, DNA- The future of data storage and Google Wind”. This was followed up by an interactive query session.The quiz competition started with faculty members providing all the necessary information and regulations to the participants. There were three rounds of the quiz.1st was Quiz (MCQ’s), 2ndwas Coding and the 3rdwas Treasure Hunt. Students were divided into 10 groups during the 1stround out of which only 6 groups qualified for the 2ndround. Finally, 3 groups qualified for the 3rdround and one group was selected as the winner. The treasure hunt was created using “Augmented Reality” concept. Overall, it was an enriching event which not only hit student’s minds but also touched their hearts and kept them engaged<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
