Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce \u2013 GSCC, established in 1983 under the aegis of the Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust, has emerged as one of Mumbai\u2019s prominent institutions for higher education in commerce, management, arts, media, and information technology. Located in Malad (West), Mumbai, the college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and is known for its commitment to academic excellence, value-based education, skill development, and holistic student growth.<\/p>\n
Over the years, the institution has built a strong academic reputation through its diverse undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes, including B. Com, BMS, BAF, BFM, BAMMC, and B.Sc. IT, M. Com, and Ph.D. programmes. This newly acquired autonomous status marks a transformative phase for the college, empowering it to design innovative curricula, introduce multidisciplinary and skill-oriented programmes aligned with the principles of the University Grants Commission and the National Education Policy 2020, adopt flexible assessment methods, and respond dynamically to evolving industry and societal needs. The autonomy enables GSCC to foster experiential learning, research culture, employability skills, entrepreneurship, and academic innovation while maintaining affiliation with the University of Mumbai.<\/p>\n
The college has also consistently demonstrated its commitment to quality assurance and institutional excellence through accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
