Death Anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule<\/strong><\/p>\nDurgadevi Saraf Junior College\u2019s NSS Unit (+2 level) celebrated the death anniversary of the great social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. The program began with lamp lighting by our Vice principal and other teachers. Two students dressed in full costume, performed role play of\u00a0 Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule. Other 3 students spoke about Mahatma Phule\u2019s life journey. The guest speaker of the event was Mr. Anil Gupta. He gave a complete picture of the whole life of Mahatma Phule very beautifully. Starting from his title Mahatma, sir spoke about all the different social activities conducted by him in favour of people, especially women and girls. Sir also enlightened about the various books given by him to the society and all the different Universities and institutes named after him. Vote of thanks was given by a student.
