Bachelor of Arts Film, Television and New Media Production is a University of Mumbai recognized course and has been developed specially to cater to the changing needs of global media and entertainment industry.

The program is devised to prepare students in film, television and new media content production. The program deals first with basics of art, graphic design and writing for media and gradually builds up on the basic knowledge to make them ready for the industry.

For the first time, it takes the students through the entire pipe line of production process with regards to the content creation for various media pads, providing the students an insight into the correlation that exists between content creation and media business.

Care has been taken to structure the fundamental core management concepts and principles in the courseware.

BAFTNMP 631 Final Project- Short Film (10-15 minutes)
Comprehensive, which will include writing an original story to production and distribution of film in the national and international circuit. It will also involve creating a blog, FB page, website for the film. Write a report

Candidates for being eligible for admission to the three‐year integrated course leading to the Degree of BA (Film, Television & New Media Production), shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Academic or Vocational Stream) conducted by different Divisional Boards of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an Examinations of any another University or Body recognized as equivalent thereof by the Senate of the University of Mumbai.

The admission is purely dependent on the merit of the candidate.
Number of Seats: The course has a total intake capacity of 180 students

Application Procedure:
Step 1: The applicants are required to register themselves on the University of Mumbai website http://mum.digitaluniversity.ac/ by selecting the course and college and acquire MKCL no.
Step 2: Fill the admission form available on the homepage of the website of DGMC.
Step 3: The College will display three Merit lists, based on the 12th score and data provided by the candidates.
Step 4: If the desired candidates name appears on any of the three list, they are eligible to seek admission by submitting the documents given below:

  • 10th and 12th Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
  • Junior College Leaving Certificate
  • Transfer and Migration Certificate (In case of applicants outside Maharashtra / Open University)
  • GAP Affidavit (In case of Gap after appearing 12th). Click here to download the format of affidavit

The applicants are required to get Originals as well as 2 Photocopies of the documents mentioned above along with the filled admission form.
The applicants are required to pay the fees and seek admission within the time stipulated for admission, failing which they stand a chance to lose their seat.
