The assessment process goes beyond just knowledge recall and emphasizes other skills like a student’s ability to use and apply knowledge appropriately, to handle information and use it to solve problems, and to acquire experimental and investigative skills. It thereby helps students in developing creative thinking and problem solving skills and is the perfect springboard to advanced study.
Grades of achievement are benchmarked using eight internationally recognised grades, A* to G, which have clear guidelines to explain the standard of achievement for each grade.
