Community Service
“Service” is an integral part of CAS, the core component of the IB Diploma Programme. Under this component our students take part in various activities that include organizing clean-up drives, visiting orphanages, old age homes, plantations etc. The purpose of these activities is to make our students understand the need for such institutions within our society; this understanding may enable them to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. For the Daan Utsav -2015, our students made approximately 500 sandwiches to distribute among auto rickshaw drivers in the vicinity, to express gratitude towards their services, they also made 1000 ‘Thanking cards’ to distribute among community helpers including BMC officials, Traffic, department officials, Post office officials etc. Our senior students are also actively engaged in sharing their computer skills with under privileged children as a part of our community service programme.
