A student who wishes to leave the college before passing the H.S.C. Examination and join another college / institution falling outside the jurisdiction of Mumbai Divisional Board of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will require an endorsement for migration on the reverse of L.C. (Issued by the college) by the Deputy Director of Education, Mumbai.

In case the student has passed her / his H.S.C. Examination and wishes to pursue further education outside the jurisdiction of the University of Mumbai and the SNDT University Mumbai, she / he will need Migration Certificate issued by the Divisional Secretary, Mumbai Divisional Board of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, besides the college L.C.

Students who are admitted to the Junior are eligible to get a bonafide certificate on submission of the following: An application on a prescribed format (available at office).

  • A copy of the admitted receipt.
  • A copy of ID Card.

The Bonafide Certificate will be issued within 3 working days following the submission of application.

Railway Concession

Bonafide students of the College are eligible for railway concessions for Season Ticket (pass) between the nearest station from their residence. Applications for railway concession form will be accepted between 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM and between 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM in the office on all working days in the prescribed railway concession form.

Long journey Railway concessions will be granted to bonafide students during vacations to visit their native place, the information about which is available at office.

Best Bus Concession:

Regular students of F.Y.J.C. and S.Y.J.C. can avail of half fare concession while commuting from home to College and back by BEST buses. This concession is applicable on all working days of the College. The students who wish to avail of this facility must fill in prescribed application form and get it attested by the Principal. This form must then be submitted to the nearest BEST bus depot, which in turn issues an identity card to the eligible students. Production of this Identity Card to the conductor of the bus enables the student to enjoy half fare concession.

Students seeking Transcripts should submit the following:

  • 1. An application on a plain paper
  • 2. Copies of all mark-sheets
  • 3. Fees of Rs.200/- for each copy.
  • The Transcripts will be issued after verification of documents within 7 working days following the submission of application and payment of fees.

The rules for issuing Leaving Certificate are as per the ordinance given below:

  • If, as a result of a student leaving one college to join another, it will be necessary for him to count the attendance kept by him in more than one college to enable him to make up the necessary number of attendance, a Leaving certificate shall not be granted except for reasons which appear to the executive council to be sufficient and except with the written permission of the Principal of the college which he intends to join. Provided , however, that in the event of a student leaving one college to join another after the completion of a term, or terms, it will be necessary for him to obtain the written permission from the Principal of the college which he desires to leave and the Principal of the college which he intends to join.
Migration Certificate
