The two-year AICTE approved PGDM program at Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies (DGMC), offering specialisations in 'Media & Communication' has been designed to cater to the changing needs of global Media, Entertainment and Advertising industry.

The program prepares students in the managerial aspects of media but due emphasis is given to marketing and brand management of various media products and services associated with these sectors.

To enter the media and communication industry in the management cadre, one must first understand the dynamic nature of today’s media along with the knowhow to create the content for the different forms of media. Hence, keeping in view today’s age of transmedial communication, the PGDM (Media & Communication) thoroughly trains the students in the processes of content production as well as managing the business of media.

Care has been taken to seamlessly blend the fundamental core management concepts and principles in the courseware in consultation with industry professionals

Eligibility Criteria & Selection Methodology

The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Should have passed Bachelors Degree examination in any faculty from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA before the commencement of the program.

    or

    Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree examination in any discipline from a UGC recognized university. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the degree examination with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. However such students are required to submits the proof of passing the qualifying examination with required percentage on or before September 25, 2016, failing which the admission offered to them will stand cancelled automatically and the fees paid by them will be forfeited.

  • Candidates should have appeared for any of the following entrance exams:
    MH-CET/ CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA.
    MH-CET 2017 conducted by the Director of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra

Application Procedure:
  • Download prospectus & application form
  • Submit application form by paying INR 1000/- (Cash or DD)
  • Appear for Personal Interview as per schedule that will be communicated to you
Fee Structure:
The fees for 2-years are INR 5,90,000/- and includes tuition fees, library fees & computer fees.
An additional refundable security deposit of INR 10,000/- will be charged in the first semester fees.

Fee for International Students:
International Students are requested to contact the office during IST 10am to 6pm for further details.
Accommodation Help:
DGMC helps in finding suitable accommodation for outstation students by connecting to reputed brokers.
The monthly rent could vary form INR 5000/- to INR 15, 000/- on sharing basis depending on amenities & location.
The rent will not include food, electricity, & Internet charges.
We also have a state - of - art Women’s Hostel on campus.
